BMW Sauber have announced that they will unveil their new car in Valencia on the 31st January – just one day before the official three day testing for 2010 gets underway for the new season.
The team are yet to officially confirm the name which will apear on the FIA’s 2010 entry list, but will be hoping their new car will put an end to the dreadful season they had last year. It was as a result of this poor performance and the downturn in the economy which led to German owned BMW to pull out of Formula One at the end of last year.
As BMW have officially left the sport they will now be msot likely to be powered by Ferrari engines.
Original founder Peter Sauber has since bought back the Swiss team and the returning team principal will be in attendance at the launch event, alongside technical director Willy Rampf, recently-signed driver Kamui Kobayashi and his yet-to-be-confirmed team mate.
